The Team BC NAIG program provides 520 Indigenous athletes with the opportunity to celebrate their culture and experience a major sport competition. The Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council delivers an annual series of BC Indigenous Provincial Championships and Sport Development Camps in various communities across the province. 

The 2020/21 season of Championships and Camps will serve as a primary component of the talent identification and selection processes by which athletes and coaches will be selected to represent BC at the Halifax 2020 NAIG.
