BCWA 2020 Spring Break Camp Postponed

In light of the growing concern around COVID-19, BCWA has made the decision to postpone the BCWA Spring Break Camp scheduled for March 16-18, 2020. At the advice of the BC Provincial Government, it is not recommended to have large social gatherings. BCWA's decision is based on precautionary measures to protect our members and our communities. Safety for the athletes, coaches, and their families is our top priority.

Information on the status of future wrestling events will be posted as it becomes available.

WCL Postpones Junior / Senior and U17 / U19 Canadian Championships

OTTAWA – Due to safety concerns surrounding the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Wrestling Canada Lutte (WCL) has postponed the 2020 Junior / Senior and U17 / U19 Canadian Championships.

The events were scheduled to take place March 27-29 in London, Ont., and April 3-5 in Edmonton. The provinces of Ontario and Alberta have asked organizers to cancel events of 250 or more people.

WCL with work with the organizing committees for both events to assess logistical components around postponing the events.
