This month marks the 10 year anniversary of when BC Sports Hall of Famer Chris Wilson carried the Olympic torch in Coquitlam, B.C.
"Wilson, who wrestled at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, jogged 300 metres south on Marmont Street before weaving through the crowded park and lighting the cauldron to cheers and chants of "Go Canada go!"
"I think it's really important for kids to find something they're passionate about, that they love, and work their butts off at it," he said, adding that sports changed his life.

Representing Canada at the Olympic Games, two World Cup Championships (in 1993 and 1994), a gold medal at the 1994 Commonwealth Games, as well as two World Cup championship medals (silver in 1991 and bronze in 1993), Wilson stands as one of the toughest B.C. wrestlers of all time.
